How do I get the template after paying?
Instantly. Right after checkout you’ll see a “continue” button that takes you to your TheraDesk duplication link — click Duplicate and it copies straight into your own Notion workspace. Lost the link? Email theradeskstudio@proton.me with your receipt and we’ll resend it, usually within a few hours, always within 24.
Do I need a paid Notion plan?
No. TheraDesk works on Notion’s free plan. You just need a free Notion account to duplicate the template into your own workspace.
Is TheraDesk HIPAA compliant?
No template can make your practice HIPAA compliant, and we don’t claim to. TheraDesk uses a HIPAA-aware structure — such as separating identifying details from notes, consent tracking, and a compliance checklist — but Notion’s standard plans do not include a BAA. You are responsible for following the compliance requirements that apply to your practice. Many therapists use TheraDesk for practice operations and keep protected records in their EHR.
Is this clinical software or an EHR replacement?
No. TheraDesk is a practice operations tool — scheduling, notes organization, payments, and admin tracking. It does not provide clinical guidance, diagnostic tools, or treatment recommendations, and it is not a substitute for an EHR where one is required.
Will this take a weekend to set up?
That’s exactly what TheraDesk is built to avoid. Everything is pre-structured and works out of the box. The included Setup Guide takes about 10 minutes: duplicate, add your clients, done.
What if it doesn’t fit my practice?
